About the Downtown Women’s Center
The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is the only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering women and gender diverse individuals experiencing homelessness. DWC envisions just, safe communities where every woman and gender diverse individual has a home and is on a path to fulfillment. Its mission is to end homelessness for women and gender diverse individuals by providing safe housing, and supportive services centered on wellness, employment, and advocacy.
